- K Vac BD-ND-IB is produced with high titering strain
of Infectious Bursal disease (IBD), Newcastle disease
virus & Infectious Bronchitis virus, the Massachusetts
strain, derived from embryonated chicken's egg, suspended
in a stable oil emulsion. A large amount of antigen is
provided in a (1/2 ml) 0.5 ml dose.
- When injected, the oil emulsion controls the absorption
of the virus and greatly enhances the development of high
levels of immunity.

|
|
Each dose contains not less than a pre-inactivation
titer of 109 EID50 Newcastle disease
virus 106.2 TCID50 Infectious Bursal
Disease virus and 106.9 EID50 of avian
Infectious Bronchitis disease virus.

- K Vac BD-ND-IB has been developed for use in chickens
and breeder hens to give broad protection against Newcastle
disease and Infectious Bursal disease (Gumboro disease)
Infectious Bronchitis (Mass. types). When injected, the
vaccine produces a high level of circulating antibody
(humoral immunity) which is maintained through out the
production cycle.
- It provides high level of immunity in the progeny.
This is the only way to provide protection to the chick
during the critical first few days of life. Early infection
with IBD (Gumboro disease) causes permanent damage to
the immune system (immunosuppression) and leaves the flock
susceptible to many other diseases.

|
|
- K Vac BD-ND-IB provides a broader range of Bronchitis
protection than other commercial vaccines. This killed
virus vaccine in oil emulsion provides more consistent
high titers throughout the production period than the
live virus vaccines.
- The IB and ND viruses are contagious and can recycle
within the flock. This can cause loss of egg production
without symptoms. This vaccine protects the reproductive
system against homologous strains and prevents such egg
losses.
- K Vac BD-ND-IB is completely safe because it contains
no living virus. It can safely be administered at any
age.
- Immunity are delivered to the farm with the chicks.

- Birds should be "primed" with live virus Newcastle-Bronchitis
vaccine at 10 to 14 days and at 12 weeks of age and with
mild or intermediate strain of live virus IBD vaccine
at 21 days and 12 weeks of age.
- Vaccinate with K Vac BD-ND-IB at 16 to 20 weeks of
age. If birds are held for a second year, revaccinate
during molt.
- Dosage is 1/2 ml (0.5 ml) per bird.
- Vaccine should be brought to room temperature (+18°C
to +20°C) before use.
- Inject subcutaneously in the lower neck region or intramuscularly
in to the chest muscle or leg using aseptic technique.
Inject all birds in flock.
|
|
|
- Shake well before and during administration.
- Vaccinate only healthy birds.
- To avoid loss in efficacy and to prevent contamination,
use entire contents of bottles when first opened.
- Do not vaccinate during 42 days before slaughter.
- All used bottles and unused content should be disposed
safely.

Store between + 2°C ( 35°F) to 7°C (45°F).
Do not freeze.

- K Vac BD-ND-IB is available in 500 ml polypropylene
bottles. Each contains 1000 doses of vaccine.
- 20 x 1000 dose.
